Join us for a family bike ride and take part in Camon’s rose festival without cars or parking worries.It’s an opportunity to (re)discover our lovely greenway, which links the Canal du Midi to Montségur and crosses our beautiful corner of Ariège and the Cathar Pyrenees, and to get some exercise while having fun! There will be several starting points for a safe, festive family stroll along the greenway. This year, we’re offering a shuttle service from Chalabre for the return journey at €2 per person. Registration is compulsory, as places are limited. 2 routes are available: 4:00 pm: departure Chalabre ancienne gare => Lavelanet parking école de musique Mirepoix parking super U => Belvèze du Razès 4:30 pm: departure Chalabre ancienne gare => Lavelanet parking école de musique Mirepoix parking super U Places are limited and reservations are essential!

Registration conditions

Bike parking facilities will be available at the finish in Camon, on the greenway. Don’t forget your lock or anti-theft device. These public spaces will not be guarded. In Camon, a stand of the Office de Tourisme des Pyrénées Cathares will be set up nearby, where registrants can collect their T-shirts at the finish. The Tourist Office in Camon will be exceptionally open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and it will be possible to recharge batteries on VAEs, or drop them off at our premises if absolutely necessary. Depending on the weather, please prepare accordingly: check your equipment and safety gear (helmet, etc.), and remember to bring water, sun cream and a raincoat!

Free registration for the event will entitle the first 100 participants to a breakfast at the start and a T-shirt at the finish. Children’s registration is also free, but compulsory. Children must be accompanied by adults responsible for them. By registering, you are taking part in an operation to promote soft mobility, the Greenway and Camon’s Rose Festival, but ABSOLUTELY NOT in a race or sporting event.Let’s pedal coolly in a relaxed atmosphere, respecting the safety rules of the highway code! You’ll be riding in a friendly atmosphere and under your own responsibility, and the Office de tourisme des Pyrénées Cathares will not be held responsible for any incidents or incivilities at the start or along the route to the end.
