How do I get there?

Escape to the Cathar Pyrenees!

Between the Mediterranean and the Pyrenees, to the east of Ariège and on the border with Aude, the Cathar Pyrenees welcomes you at the foot of the mountains. The Cathar Pyrenees are easily accessible by car (1h from Toulouse or Carcasonne) or train. Here you’ll find all the practical information you need to reach our corner of paradise, whether for a weekend or a long, relaxing vacation!



Choosing your trip

  1. Take the A66 – l’Ariègeoise freeway
    • Exit Pamiers then continue on the N20
    • Exit 6 towards Mirepoix or continue on the N20 towards Foix: exit 12 towards Lavelanet to reach the Pays d’Olmes.
  2. You can also take the N113 or the A61 towards Carcassonne to reach the Pays d’Olmes (via Mirepoix and Lavelanet).
