The Trail de la Forêt Royale is a mid-mountain race of around 16km for 890md+ starting in Bélesta, mainly on paths and tracks, with a small section of road. An ideal format for the start of the season, to be experienced intensely or as preparation for another event.
The race started in Bélesta on 02 February 2020. It was organised on the model of the Montée Cathare by Michel Arnaud, a member of the Trail des Citadelles organisation and independent of it.
