Greenway brochure

The “Chemin des Filatiers” greenway is a former railroad track converted into a multi-activity trail. It’s a flat path with an excellent surface. It runs for 38 km through the Cathar Pyrenees. The path offers magnificent walks and bike rides (VTC, VTT, VAE, gravel ) in complete safety, thanks to gated entrances and secure structures. It’s a perfect blend of sport, pleasure and culture, serving the Lac de Montbel, charming villages and medieval towns such as Camon and Mirepoix.

With the “voie verte” flyer in your pocket, it’s easy to organize an original tour to suit your desires and your pace, and fill up on unforgettable memories.

Roses and bikes

2nd Bikes and Roses event on May 19! Join the Office de Tourisme des Pyrénées cathares in cycling along the greenway to Camon on the day of the Fête des Roses. Registration for this event is free, and good spirits are guaranteed! Join us soon!

NEW: this year we’re offering a return shuttle service at €2 per person. Reservations required – places are limited!
