A mountain of summer possibilities

The Mont d'Olmes

Set in an exceptional natural environment, the Monts d’Olmes ski resort offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Pyrenees mountain range and the nearby Toulouse plain all year round. During the summer months, take advantage of this life-size playground with its majestic views to recharge your batteries or challenge yourself!

Activities

for every taste

In summer, the resort offers a wide range of activities for sports enthusiasts and the more contemplative alike… Les Monts d’Olmes offers a real first experience of the mountains for young and old alike.

Hiking and downhill mountain biking are king here, and several signposted circuits are on offer to discover all the facets of the surrounding mountains with its high-altitude lakes known in Ariège as “Etangs” such as the Appys, Trout, Diable, Superior and Fage belle ponds . Note that with the chairlift that also operates in summer, the approach to these mountain lakes or the passes of the surrounding peaks is made much easier …

The trail too is making a place for itself at the resort playground to prepare for this extreme mountain challenge. The facilities and services offered by the resort invite all lovers of nature sports to stay or bivouac here.

The nature reserve

of Saint Barthélemy

As its name suggests, it covers the Tabe massif, whose highest point is Saint Barthelemy at 2345 meters.

This mountain range offers a very varied backdrop, with the possibility of easy family hikes, not forgetting the more athletic mountaineers who have the chance to climb to altitudes of over 2300 meters. You’ll encounter a remarkable biodiversity of mountain flowers. You can observe a multitude of mountain animals such as large birds of prey, marmots, isards and, if you’re lucky, the rare Pyrenean mouflons.
