Check out the open-air markets held throughout the year in the Cathar Pyrenees, where you can fill up on local produce and good cheer!

Mirepoix market

On Monday mornings, throughout the year, the unmissable Mirepoix market takes place. It’s one of the biggest in the region … and perhaps one of the most beautiful!

In the center of the medieval town and on the Place du Maréchal Leclerc, you’ll find stalls selling fruit, vegetables, meat, fish, spices, textiles, jewelry, handicrafts … and lots more. Not to be missed!”

Every Thursday you’ll find a small farmer’s market around the covered market.

Lavelanet market

Every Friday morning, Lavelanet’s big market takes place in the town center, on the Espace André Roudière.

It’s the place to be for all local producers offering their fruits, vegetables, meats, fish, spices, textiles, jewelry, handcrafted productions…

In addition, a small farmers’ market takes place in the covered market every Wednesday morning.
