The National and Lavelanet City Festival will take place from July 10 to 14.
It will kick off a summer filled with camaraderie and sharing, always with the same guiding principle: to offer a festive, family-friendly celebration and free musical evenings…
The program:
July 14 Ceremony: 10:10 a.m.: The procession departs from City Hall and heads toward the War Memorial.
Featuring the Coq Lavelanétien, the music school, the Philharmonic, and the Raconte-moi Lavelanet association; 10:30 a.m., ceremony at the War Memorial, wreath laying; motorcade by the Lavelanet Fire and Rescue Department; 11:00 a.m., presentation of the Recognition and Honor Awards in the Town Hall park, followed by a reception.
But also, over the course of five days, a carnival, various activities, dances, and fireworks are on the agenda for the traditional local festival.
Due to the extreme heat, the pétanque tournament organized by the Stade Lavelanétien Pétanque Club has been canceled.
For five evenings, starting at 9 p.m., there will be dancing on the Esplanade de la Concorde.

Monday, the 13th: Maxime Lewis
Tuesday, the 14th: Sahara Orchestra – Fireworks at 11 p.m. – launched from the Touyre.
