STORIES AND LEGENDS OF THE VILLAGE OF MONTSEGUR

The village of Montségur was created at the end of the 15th century. Located in the middle of the mountain, it still keeps the traces of a rural life, peasant and craft. The memory of the siege of the crusade and the cathar history to resurgence in the 19th century through tales and legends told during the evening.

A little history

Tour of the streets of the typical Ariege village, visit of the village church, local legends and traditions.

How to get there, where to park the bus?

Go on the D9 and continue to the parking lot of the campsite which is located after the village.

This visit can be coupled with another guided tour on request.
